History

The first church (Baptist) was constituted in 1795

The first lumber mills in the town were built about 1800

The first clothing mill was built about 1805 on Kayaderosseras creek

Senior Center

The Corinth Senior Citizen Center, located at 22 Hamilton Avenue, is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 p.m. A Saratoga County Nutrition Site, nutritious noon meals are served at the center and delivered to residents who are unable to partake at the center.

Transportation is provided to residents of Corinth for shopping three times a month in Saratoga Springs or Glens Falls, medical appointments, attendance at the Senior Center and other travel requirements of our senior citizens.

Blood pressure clinics, flu shots and health screenings for cataracts. glaucoma, vision, cholesterol and glucose are held at the center on a regularly scheduled basis. In addition, there are three day trips every year and weekly games of Pokeno and Bingo.

Help is always available at the Senior Citizen Center in filling out various applications, insurance forms or any other matter that is senior-related.
